Mike Dumont
Mike has over 35 years of experience in the industrial automation field. He worked for 15 years with Reliance Electric; first as a Field Service engineer where he was responsible for the start up and troubleshooting of industrial DC and AC drive systems. Mike then moved into sales where he sold engineered drive systems worldwide to a number of industries including, steel and wire, pulp and paper, and plastics.
In 1987, Mike co-founded Dumont Associates, which specialized in the integration of process control systems utilizing programmable controllers, HMIs and SCADA systems. Mike was responsible for all of the sales and marketing. Dumont Associates was sold to Optimation Technologies in 2004.
Mike, along with two other partners, founded Hollis Technologies in 2000 as an industrial distribution company. Hollis’ focus is on industrial computing technologies and the peripheral hardware and software to support those applications.
